Fire Engineer. Mid-West. Irlanda

Key Responsibilities:

•    Design and develop comprehensive fire strategies for commercial, industrial, and residential projects using TGD Part B & M, BS9999, BS 5588, FM and NFPA standards

•    Lead fire safety certification processes, including Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) and Disabled Access Certificate (DAC) applications through BCMS

•    Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure optimal fire safety solutions

•    Implement insurer requirements to minimize property damage and business interruption risks

•    Oversee BCAR compliance and conduct detailed fire inspection reports

•    Mentor graduate engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews

•    Contribute to business development through proposal writing and project scoping

Required Qualifications & Experience:

•    5+ years' experience in fire engineering and safety certification

•    Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Fire Engineering (preferred)

•    Expert knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and international fire safety standards

•    Proven experience with FSC, DAC, BCAR, and BCMS processes

•    Strong project management and client communication skills

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

•    REVIT and BIM experience (desirable)
