Innovative turbocharging company Accelleron is looking for a Regional Digital Sales Manager for Northern Europe to lead the ambitious plan of expansion in digital business. Accellerons digital solutions aim at optimizing vessel performance to meet the tightening carbon emission requirements of the maritime industry (read more). The Regional Digital Sales Manager will be ultimately responsible for Digital Revenue generation and retention in the Nordics. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closing, creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships with  customers and stakeholders. The role combines both new sales and taking care of the existing clientele and pipeline.

In this position you will:

- Create and implement the business plan for maintaining and expanding Digital Business in the Nordic region and take responsibility for delivering the results.

- Lead the Sales activities: Create, develop, and manage sales leads, perform technical and commercial presentations about digital solutions, close deals, and act as the first level of customer support.

- Create and maintain trust-based, mutually beneficial, and productive relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels (from executives to operations), become the go-to person in the region for digital solutions, and consistently show customer-centricity.

- Actively and positively collaborate with the Accelleron team (regionally and globally) to foster digital business growth, sharing business opportunities and offering high-quality and responsive customer support.

- Collect and share customer feedback, market trends, and customer developments with the Global Head of Sales & Operations. Propose and lead activities connected with the feedback.

- Be the digital solution specialist in the region, train and develop colleagues about them, and act as an evangelist within the Division.

You will report to the Global Head of Sales and Operations for Digital Solutions, based in Switzerland and on the dotted line to the Country Manager for Scandinavia. You will be part of a digital business team of six other Regional Digital Managers working globally to support your work. The location of the position is flexible within any country in Northern Europe. You can work mostly remotely but are also expected to meet clients and travel for ~20% of the working time.

Your background:

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Mechanical/Marine/Electrical Engineering or similar

- Multi-year experience in the maritime market, ideally in vessel performance and/or engine performance area

- Knowledge of the local and global marine market, access to decision-makers in key companies, or ability to build up such relationships

- Significant and successful working experience in a sales position and/or customer support

- Experience, or at least strong interest towards digital vessel solutions

- Resilient, proactive, self-motivated, and willing to make a difference in the sustainability and digitalization of our markets

- A full working proficiency in English
