Business Manager (Finance, Operations & Sustainability)

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance & Management, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant work experiences may compensate for formal education
• Proven experience as in Management or similar administrative and operational role.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Knowledge of ESG principles and experience implementing sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service best practices.
• Proficiency in procurement processes and vendor management.
• Thorough understanding of licensing laws and regulatory compliance
• Strong Excel skills and significant experience with using accounting (ERP) software

Arbeidsoppgaver

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, plan, and monitor sales levels, taking corrective actions to ensure profitability.
• Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, maintaining overall financial control in collaboration with the accountant.
• Drive environmental, sustainability, and governance initiatives.
• Develop and implement a business scale-up plan focused on local produce and sustainability.
• Organize marketing activities, including promotional events and discount schemes.
• Recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee all operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Manage and contribute to the monthly accounting process, ensuring the team and liaise with the external accountant to deliver timely invoicing, controlling and bookkeeping and a complete month end process
• Participate and execute as a team member in all aspects of the accounting process
• Manage strategic and operational procurement to optimize resources and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and other legal requirements.
• Manage administration functions which include matters pertaining to:
• Facilities/office
• Employees/social events
