We are looking for an experienced and dedicated electrical designer to contribute to our company's growth and innovation in electrical design for transport and lifting equipment for the wind turbine industry.

About the job

The tasks in the electrical department will range from identifying legal requirements for control systems according to relevant directives and standards to the development, specification, assembly, validation, commissioning, and servicing of control systems for our cranes and lifting equipment. This will be done in close collaboration with a team of engineers and electrical designers responsible for our control systems across our product groups.

Expected tasks:

• Develop and maintain electrical diagrams for future and current products.
• Define and maintain parts lists and electrical master data.
• Contribute electrical expertise and experience in prototype development.
• Responsible for compliance with various legal requirements regarding CE marking of control systems for lifting equipment – specifically, our products must comply with EN/IEC 60204 and EN/IEC 61439.

About you

You have a degree in electrical engineering, electrical design, electrician, marine engineer, or other relevant technical education. You are motivated and focus on solutions rather than problems. You can work independently as well as in a team.

• Familiarity with relevant EU directives and standards. There is, of course, the possibility of diving into relevant legal requirements as part of the daily work in the electrical department.
• PLC programming.
• Experience in the design of panels/electrical systems on machines.
• Familiarity with PC-schematic, SEE Electrical or other relevant software.
• Proficiency in English in both writing and speaking.
