Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:
Patients are at the centre of everything we do. An Electronic Health Record System EHRS will help to ensure that we continue to get better at delivering services and treatment plans designed around patient needs. Our vision is to create a digitally enabled organisation that supports the delivery of efficient and effective patient care, achieved through easy-to-use systems that provide staff and patients with access to the right information, in the right place, at the right time. You will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the EHRS Interfaces Project Team and associated application deliverables to support the implementation. You will manage a small team of six EHRS system interface analysts responsible for delivering the configuration and build of these specialist interfaces using best practice interfacing standards and protocols. You will also manage the application testing, working with the testing manager and his/her team, prior to EHRS and its interfaces going live to ensure that the interfaces work as expected against HL7 and other healthcare standards. The successful candidate must be able to provide strong leadership, have a high level of communication skills, use a flexible approach and be able to work under pressure. You will work in collaboration with Epic our EHRS provider along with other partner NHS and US organisations and Atos, our outsources IT services and Digital Transformation Partner in order to build in their learning and experience to enable successful delivery. You need to have considerable previous experience of interface development, design and architecture using HL7 in a healthcare setting. Our EHRS provider Epic will train you specifically on their ‘Bridges’ interface module both in the US and the UK. If successful, you will be offered this exciting role as a NHS secondment on your current NHS terms and conditions or as a new fixed term NHS contract. You will receive your annual increments in line with agenda for change.
