Balfour Beatty CLG manages the gas network on behalf of its client, Gas Network Ireland. The Delivery Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant customer centric delivery of allDistribution Sorks in their area of the BBCLG / GNI contract, with a ‘right first time’ approach and overall accountability for all works. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of themanagement team. The successful candidate will be working closely with all other members of the management team. He/She will ensure delivery of theprogramme of works, to achieve forecast budget while demonstrating clear leadership in the delivery of key health, safety, quality and environmental initiatives. Delivery of work programmes and budget targets cash collection and dispute resolution. Responsible for a working environment which ensures the achievement of all safety quality, environment legislation, engineering, customer and client standards. Performance and development management, commercial and budgetary management. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholder, local authority, Gas Networks Ireland. Key objectives: Ensure certainty of target delivery against monthly/quarterly targets Maintain the correct level of resource to meet programme demands both DOL and subcontract Adherence with the emergency response procedure and call out and stand by rota. Delivers cost control against budget Manage safety and quality targets and ensure technical compliance against defined policies and procedures. Support and champion efficiency and innovation within business unit, to enable lean ways of working. Ensure performance development management is in place.
