As Data Specialist you are responsible for structuring, cleansing, linking and analyzing the different data sources in the Life Cycle Program.

A new powerful Life Cycle Sales Tool is being developed for our dealers. This tool will support the dealers to identify sales opportunities at the complete life cycle of the customer’s vehicles. These opportunities are based on historical workshop and parts sales to the customers, vehicle park status like mileage and technical aspects or end of life agreements as warranty and repair and maintenance contracts. Based on these opportunities customer specific marketing promotions will be initiated.

In this project different data sources like the direct marketing customer database, dealer parts sales database, customer vehicle park and eCommerce customer sales are combined in one new data source.

You are responsible to combine these different data sources, structure and clean the data and finally identify the sales opportunities for the different dealers. Based on your detailed data analysis you are expected to advice about new sales opportunities, the quality of the data and the preferred way to improve and clean the customer and vehicle park data. Based on dealers visits in the pilot phase the business rules for opportunity identification can be changed or updated. You are expected to support this process and make sure new business rules are applied. On the longer term the data needs to be integrated with the onboard Connect fleet management system too, so knowledge about customers and their vehicle park are extended.

You have a bachelor or master degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Science or related field. Preferably you have at least two years of working experience. You are a strong analytical person and are able to process big data in an efficient and proper way. You have affinity with ICT and systems and have significant experience with Excel, Access, SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services and BI tools. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English, the Dutch language is preferred.
