As the Data Protections Specialist, you will be involved in providing a wide range of administrative and support services that help managers and staff carry out their work. You will spend most of your time providing administrative support, collecting information, producing documents, managing filing and administrative systems, and supporting assigned staff.

You will work in a team environment, liaising with and meeting the needs of internal customers. You will have good business and operational administration skills and experience. This role specifically covers Data Protection, with a focus on data subject rights and data breaches and incidents

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing of data subject rights requests within legal requirements.

• Line 2 oversight and DP risk assessment of BAU personal data breaches/incidents

• Liaise with other departments to close out on data subject rights requests.

• Prepare and issue data subject rights requests, liaising with business areas as appropriate.

• Escalate any requests that are out of agreed processing timeline and proactively engage relevant business area(s)

• Contribute to management reporting in relation to data subject rights requests and other data protection KRI.

• Providing a wide range of administrative and support services to help the Data Protection Officer to carry out their work more efficiently and effectively.

• Collating information and producing documents to support the operation and management of the business.

• Providing feedback to Data Protection Office on emerging issues arising from subject rights or data protection incidents.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A working knowledge of data protection, to include the GDPR, Irish DPA and UK GDPR

• Previous experiences working in Data Protections

• Years Experience of administrative environments.

• Experience of organising/co-coordinating work
