Customer Service Support Officer As a Barclays Customer Service Support Officer, you'll work closely with the Servicing Teams, focusing on the delivery of high quality service to banking clients. You'll be required to adhere to operational rigour and compliance principles but in return we can offer you a fantastic career opportunity. Ultimately, this position offers you a great starting point. About us: We have a number of contact and processing centres, and there's a full spectrum of customer service, admin support and agent roles. These teams support our mortgage agents as well as our retail network. They also manage the admin associated with customer and product related processing - ensuring the standards of our service is consistently high. As a Customer Service Support Officer, your main responsibilities will involve: * Processing documents received via post, fax and e-mail, ensuring items are correctly allocated to workflow systems within the service level agreements * Responding to servicing requests received from clients, as well as those from other business areas and third parties * Working closely with the rest of the team providing mutual support by training, coaching and sharing knowledge and best practices * Actively identifying opportunities for clients to transfer their servicing needs to more efficient and cost effective self-serve channels * Servicing clients in line with current processes to ensure requests are actioned right first time As a Customer Service Support Officer, your skills and qualifications will include: * Excellent planning and organisation know-how, and an eye for detail * Experience in risk management * Management and leadership skills, including a background in people development * The ability to communicate and influence colleagues effectively * Commercial effectiveness, with a client and customer driven focus The Benefits: Our customers deserve the best.
