Our team are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Clinical Psychologist with appropriate experience and skills to join us; the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Team sits within the Child, Family and Younger Person's Service for Central Norfolk and is based in Norwich. This specialist multi-disciplinary team, works with service users 0-25yrs and their families, some of the presenting difficulties include: Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Attention Deficit Disorder, as well as the emotional and developmental difficulties common to this clinical age range. You will work autonomously within professional guidelines being responsible for providing specialist assessments and treatment to children, young people and their families/carers, including planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based interventions. You will need to be creative in your approach, have excellent communication and engagement skills, as a member of this team you will contribute to the wider aims of the service through joint working, providing specialist consultation, case and team formulation, training and clinical supervision to other professionals, participation in service development/research. The post is banded at 8a but we would welcome suitable applications from newly qualified, or soon to be qualified clinical psychologists. If successful, a newly qualified psychologist would be paid at Band 7 for a preceptorship period of 18 months before progressing to Band 8a.
