Are you ready to lead and further develop a finance team supporting our Continuous Improvement area?

Vestas is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Power Solutions Finance team. This role supports the Global Technology organisation to take the best decision at best time by providing clear, up-to-date and relevant financial information. 

Group Finance > Power Solutions Finance > CIM & Warranty Finance

You will join the Power Solutions Finance department, which is part of Group Finance. Power Solutions Finance covers following areas in Vestas; Business partnering & Business Analysis for Vestas's Technology function, Vestas Group Costing and finally the Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) & warranty functions.

The departments main objective is to provide value adding financial partnering to our main stakeholders dealing with the warranty and CIM cases and support our global sales organization with any sales related warranty requests.


The head of the CIM & Warranty team is responsible for following:

  • All finance related product and processes within the CIM and warranty area, resulting in actual Group Warranty provision (valued at 500m+ EUR).
  • Drive and undertake high quality analyses for recommendation to the stakeholders including risk mitigation scenarios and risk reporting to Executive forums.
  • Sustain and further develop the existing Finance team consisting of 3 colleagues in Denmark and one in India. Further develop the corporation with Vestas's Global shared service center in Manila.
  • Ensure Vestas always have a true and transparent view on the warranty assessments for the regional sales process. The team has a formal role as Subject matters expert for the warranty costs in our sales PreCalcs.
  • Responsible for supplier claims (provide documentation and support Global procurement in negotiation materials).


  • MSc in Business Economics or Management, MSc Applied Economics or Finance, or similar. 
  • 3-5 years relevant management experience from a similar size team (4 FTEs), preferably from an international organisation
  • Hands on Project Management experience and exposure to project oriented cultures and organisations


To succeed in the role, you must have: 

  • A solid finance background, enabling you to understand the consequences of the financial decisions
  • Leadership skills on a pragmatic level. The size of the team requires a person who enjoys leading others as well as doing his/her own part of the lifting
  • Project management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with bigger business and cross functional area projects 
  • Excellent capabilities of handling big and complex data sets and draw out key conclusions would be an advantage
  • As our corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in English both orally and in writing
  • Proven experience at advanced level in MS Excel 
  • Knowledge of information systems such as SAP BI would be an advantage

Additional information

Primary work location is Ringkøbing or Videbæk. You should expect very limited travelling activity outside Denmark, however 1-2 days a month in Aarhus/Copenhagen is to be expected.
