Job Description Community Safety Glasgow (CSG) is an organisation with charitable status, which aims to prevent crime, tackle antisocial behavior and promote community safety. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Security & Business Development division for two CCTV Systems Engineers. The post-holders will be responsible for carrying out the installation, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV systems including Public Space and the related disciplines. Candidates will be required to demonstrate: • An ability to work on their own initiative. • An understanding of IP networks relating to CCTV. • Previous experience of CCTV installation and service engineering, of both analogue and IP. • Proven ability to troubleshoot faults in both analogue and IP CCTV systems including their related management and telemetry systems and their associated equipment e.g. cameras, matrixes, switches, routers, etc. An IT accreditation such as Cisco CCNA would be desirable. Also desirable would be experience in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of Intercom, Access Control. The successful candidate will be required to hold a full and current driving licence and undertake a pre-employment health screening. This post is subject to Security Screening to BS7858 standard, therefore candidates will be required to provide a 10 year checkable work history in accordance with BS7858.
