AGC is looking for a Business Development Operations Associate Business Development Operations Associate

BD Operations Associate is a highly responsible position supporting the business development team.  The primary responsibility is to write business proposals and draft pricing for development and manufacturing opportunities.  The individual selected will interact intensively with both business development and technical colleagues.  This position is an opportunity to join the business development team of a highly dynamic and growing CDMO. 

Responsibilities:

• Write 3 to 4 proposals per week for new business opportunities. 

• Evaluate Requests for Proposals to determine the appropriate project scope and requirements of opportunities

• Work closely with the technical team to customize the work scope based on information provided in requests for proposals

• Draft proposal pricing

• Present proposals to client 

• Support customer on-site meetings and conference calls

• Help coordinate weekly site stakeholder meetings

• Maintain proposal templates to ensure global harmonization and consistency with technical operations 

• Support sales data tracking and analysis. 

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a science or applicable engineering field with 2 - 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience, preferably with a CMO 

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development

• Ability to interact frequently and effectively with technical team members and business development collegues

• Positive customer orientation 

• Ability to work independently and with a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project for creation of Gantt charts).
