Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our beauty clinic. This role will play a crucial part in driving growth by managing relationships with suppliers in Japan, sourcing new and innovative beauty products, and expanding our product range. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, strong negotiation skills, and an understanding of the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers in Japan to ensure the smooth procurement of beauty products.

Research and identify potential new suppliers and products that align with the business's goals and customer preferences.

Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, product availability, and delivery terms to secure the best deals for the business.

Stay up to date on beauty trends, particularly in the Japanese market, and identify opportunities to introduce cutting-edge products to the business.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to support the launch of new products and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends to support product development strategies.

Manage all communication with Japanese suppliers, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth business operations.

Attend trade shows, events, and exhibitions to build relationships and discover new opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Business level Japanese and English essential. Most communication is done through email or video call in Japanese.

Previous experience working in a Japanese company and understanding Japanese work culture preferred.

Proven experience in business development, purchasing, or sales within the beauty or cosmetic industry.

Strong understanding of Japanese beauty products and suppliers.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
