Business Controller (Controller/in). Malta

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Controller to join our finance

team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting strategic decision-making

by providing insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance

monitoring.

- Responsible for month-end controlling and financial reporting

- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

- Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes

- Deliver management reports with KPIs and dashboards

- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions

- Support cost control and profitability analysis

- Improve financial processes, systems, and controls

- Participate in strategic planning and financial modeling

- Assist in audits, board reports, and ad hoc presentations

- Collaborate with teams for accurate, timely data

- Support finance team as needed and generate business plans

- Adaptable, flexible, and may perform senior duties

Ihr Profil:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Candidates in

advanced stages of obtaining such qualification will also be considered.

- Having prior working experience as a business controller will be considered as an

asset.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and

performance analysis.

- Proficiency in Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of SAP and BI tools are

considered as assets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both finance and non-finance

stakeholders.

- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

- Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership

- Ability to work to tight deadlines

- Availability and flexibility to travel and work abroad for short assignments.
