Brazilian Dance Instructor and Manager Assistant. Irlanda

We are seeking an experienced Brazilian Dance Instructor and Manager Assistant to help expand our cultural and artistic mission through dance. This position will focus on both teaching and managing a variety of tasks aimed at fostering an inclusive, multicultural space for dance.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Brazilian dance styles and a passion for creating an engaging and supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach Weekly Dance Classes: Focused on Brazilian styles (e.g., Twerk, Axé, Funk, Sertanejo, etc.), providing both group and private lessons.

Lead Dance Workshops & Events: Organise multicultural dance workshops and manage events, ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.

Choreography Creation: Develop unique choreographies for classes, performances, and special projects, including collaborative work with local artists.

Team Leadership & Administration: Oversee the administrative tasks, including financial management, balancing budgets, processing payments, and managing class bookings.

Social Media & Marketing Management: Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), manage content creation (photos, videos), and promote dance activities and events.

Customer Service & Student Engagement: Maintain excellent customer service, ensuring student satisfaction, answering inquiries, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Growth & Partnerships: Lead growth initiatives, expand class offerings, and establish new partnerships with community organizations and cultural institutions in Dublin.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Dance Experience:

Over 5 years of experience teaching a variety of dance styles, with a focus on Brazilian rhythms such as Twerk, Axé, Funk, and Sertanejo.

Experience teaching in multicultural environments and adapting classes for students of various skill levels.

Leadership & Management Experience:

Proven track record in managing teams and overseeing operations in a dance or artistic studio setting.

Strong organisational skills, including experience with financial management, scheduling, and general administration.

Social Media & Content Creation:

Demonstrated success in social media marketing, with experience creating engaging content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Proficiency in tools like CapCut, InShot, and Canva for video and photo editing.

Communication & Cultural Skills:

Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.

Ability to engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Additional Experience:

Previous experience working with community outreach or cultural initiatives to promote dance as a form of leisure and artistic expression is a plus.
