About Onestream Onestream provides unlimited Home Phone and Broadband services to customers UK-wide It is also part of the Onecom Group - The UK’s largest Independent Business Telecoms Provider Main responsibilities of the Billing Manager: • Responsible for managing the monthly bill run, adhoc billing, training and developing existing admin workforce • Management of direct reports’ performance including objective setting • Assist the Sales teams on creating new tariffs • Manage Billing Schedules and ensure timely completion of Billing • Ensure accuracy of billing • Analyse, resolve or escalate any operational issues to relevant teams and own the issue through to resolution • Manage the billing help desk for internal and external billing queries and ensure quick turnaround of queries • Reconcile bill runs and maintain statistics and operational KPI’s • Create processes and monitoring reports to ensure end–to-end processes are followed correctly and issues are highlighted and fixed quickly • Document all Billing Operations Processes • Participate in audit of issues, bug fixing and improvements in the billing process and systems • Liaise with carriers to ensure billing accuracy as per contracts • Liaise with billing software provider and lead change management and process improvement projects for the billing system • Assist Revenue Assurance ensuring the root cause of revenue leakages are fixed quickly • Assist in the technical introduction of new products and services to ensure that they are operationally supported when they go live - includes billing setup, interface to service delivery, tariffing and reporting • Investigate billing issues and propose remedial actions The successful Billing Manager will possess the following key skills: • Telecoms experience preferably on the aBILLity platform, particularly from a consumer billing perspective • Management/leadership experience • Process Improvement experience • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy • Demonstrates understanding of call data records • Strong IT skills and use of programs including Excel, Word and CRM systems • Logical and structured approach to work • A self-motivated and pro-active approach to all areas of the work • Commitment to further professional and personal development • Excellent data input, analysis and reporting skills • Strong people management skills • Effective coaching skills • Ability to support, train and identify the needs of the business • Performance manager – understands performance drivers, promotes self-management • Change management - ability to work through an environment of change and effectively through transitions beyond their control What’s on offer? • 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days, plus bank holidays • Performance related bonus • Discounted gym membership • Annual events including the Christmas Party • Personal and professional development of staff members • Enhanced Maternity pay (based on length of service) • Pension scheme • Cycle to work scheme • Childcare vouchers • Eye-care vouchers This role is office based, and located at our Head Office in Whiteley Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants.
