Breast Care Nurse – Screening Services - Band 7 Would you like to develop a career in breast cancer nursing? If you are you are currently working as an experienced staff nurse with patients who have cancer we have a unique opportunity to join an established team of experienced Breast Care CNSs. A full-time post has become vacant at the West of London Breast Screening Service which is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, an academic health science centre AHSC and the largest trust in the country. The mission of the trust is to provide world class healthcare for our patients, through excellence in research, education and training. This is an opportunity to work in one of the largest breast screening units in England where you can make a worthwhile contribution in a warm and friendly environment. The postholder will work within screening assessment. You must be willing to undertake specialist courses at post graduate level. You should be self motivated, eager to learn and keen to develop the skills to work both autonomously and as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team. The West of London Breast Screening Service provides services to women registered with GPs in Ealing, Hammersmith &Fulham, Hounslow, Kensington &Chelsea, Westminster and Hillingdon. The service is based at Charing Cross Hospital and has five static sites located at Charing Cross Hospital, Ealing Hospital, the Heart of Hounslow Centre for Health, St Mary’s Hospital and Uxbridge Health Centre. All sites use digital mammography equipment.
