Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide specialised Technical Support; troubleshoot problems, research issues, determine and apply solutions and workarounds

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Delivery and other departments in the best interests of the customer experience

• Extract data from SQL databases for reporting purposes.

• Create, Test and Validate complex as well as routine SQL Queries to update data across large database schemas.

• Test new software functionality, identifying bugs and test fixes prior to release. Sharing these experiences with the support department.

• Take on new tasks as required and to use the tools (JIRA/Salesforce/Hubble) provided to continue to learn and develop within the role

• Triaging, categorising, and prioritising issues reported by customers and partners

• Understanding typical applications design and dependencies including good understanding of the underlying database and infrastructure technologies

• Proactively notify Business and IT management of any issues as soon as they’re identified and provide regular updates on proposed solutions.

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Delivery and other departments in the best interests of the customer experience

• Develop and/or grow documented communication procedures and guidelines answering and resolving application request ensuring that the local team is setup for success

• Resolve customer’s issues for Enterprise customer via the telephone, email or WebEx session

Are you the person we're looking for?

• Third Level Qualification in Business, IT or related discipline

• At least 3 years in a customer service or technical support role, preferably software or related experience

• Exceptional time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and to set priorities independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• The ability to prioritize workload and adjust accordingly as situations change

• Capable of building effective working relationships with internal teams

• Ability to work in a mission-critical environment

• Proactive, positive outlook with an ability to demonstrate initiative

• SQL experience desirable

• Experience of CoreHR products or payroll processing an advantage

• Experience using Salesforce an advantage
