Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for an experienced Associate Accountant to join our Finance, Tax and Risk Management team in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

The role

Your main responsibility will be daily accounting activities as well as performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing for assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines. You will report to our Finance Manager, and you will work closely with the entire Finance, Tax and Risk Management team. You will join a team of five dedicated and ambitious colleagues: three Junior Accountants and two External Consultants, and you will quickly become part of a great environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

• Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions
• Performing accounting activities for assigned areas on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Financial reconciliation of accounts
• Collaboration with external auditors
• Optimization of tasks and processes
• Ad hoc tasks

The successful candidate

We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience from a similar position within accounting and finance. Additionally, you hold a degree in Accounting or Finance just like experience from a fund management company is also an advantage. You must be willing to do routine work, and you should have a flexible mindset being able to work in an environment where priorities often change. Furthermore, we look for the following in a candidate:

• Good analytical skills and the willingness to put an effort into delivering timely and accurately
• A thorough and structured approach to your work
• Fluency in English both verbally and in writing, and fluency in Danish is an advantage
