We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Assistant Customer Service Manager to join our prestigious client based in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to develop a culture of customer excellence by working closely with both the Customer Service Manager and the Customer Service team.

The successful candidate will have the following skills: • Developing and managing the performance of the customer support teams through effective leadership • Demonstrate they can coach and train individuals and fully support the team to enable them to achieve set targets. • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to customers who have queries or on occasion complaints. • Regularly monitoring performances of the team • Ensuring that all Assistants offer excellent customer service to all customers and meet set SLAs • Leading and inspiring the team to grow within the organisation • Manage complaint escalations promptly and efficiently, ensuring action is taken to prevent any further underlying issues • Ability to report and provide statistical information on service operations • Strong coach, comfortable working with staff one on one in order to motivate improvement, or recognise great performance where necessary. • Effective at internal and external stakeholder management. • Excellent people management skills with proven experience in all aspects of the employment lifecycle such as recruitment , employee relations, training and development and appraisals Person Specifications: • Must have experience managing a team in a call centre environment • Excellent customer service skills • Good written communication skills • Excellent time management Hours: • You will be required to work 40 hours per week
