Area Manager Basic salary £24.5-27K OTE £34-38K achievable & uncapped Generous car allowance, mileage, office essentials Central/North London stretching up to St Albans / Luton / Harlow A position has been created within this challenger brand technology company, to allow their continued growth they need to ensure their channel partners are effectively supported & managed and therefore are looking to expand the team to ensure this. This is an internationally owned, nationally recognised brand with market leading products, sold via a tier1 channel network and have exciting opportunities for Area Managers to join in and around the London area. Prior experience in a field or area role is not essential for this opportunity. The ideal candidate may well come from the same sector as our channel partners – for example a sales/KPI focused retail store manager from a telecoms or technology background. Area Manager– Job Role: • Pro-actively plan your own diary across the day/week/month to ensure effective coverage of your allocated patch • Be a brand ambassador, live & breathe the brand. Promote through strong knowledge of the USP’s, not just discount & price point • Develop meaningful and supportive relationships with key stake holders to allow you to influence their business priorities • Understanding the difference between training & coaching, deliver both to the shop floor teams to ensure fantastic brand awareness & ongoing sales • Significant travel throughout your patch will be required, however this isn’t a high volume daily visit role • Don’t be afraid to creatively problem solve • Sales delivery; the ultimate goal of this role is to deliver sales of the company product, in a consistent manner not just tied to incentive days • Utilise rapport to build strong & lasting channel partner relationships • Deliver market leading customer service, be the first port of call for technical questions for your channel partners • Develop new opportunities, plan strategically to maximise sales not just securing easy wins • Ensure the full product portfolio is available in every partners location • Aim to overachieve Experience Required: • Flexible, hardworking attitude • Demonstrable track record of excelling in sales/KPI environment • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and listening skills • Self-starter, able to motivate self without someone on your shoulder • Be able to provide evidence of achieving sales targets • Training new products & services to teams • Team player, whilst also showing lone wolf hunger • Coaching individuals • Ability to display and provide examples of skills in negotiation, communication, active listening and a sound commercial acumen. • Previous mobile phone retail sales experience would advantageous but not essential A full & comprehensive training program is provided by the company in house and full support is provided throughout the role.
