Due to increased student numbers, we are able to offer an additional teaching role. MacIntyre is a leading national charity supporting people with learning disabilities. We are looking for a qualified teacher to join the team at our school in Wingrave, near Aylesbury. About you You will be an outstanding, creative classroom teacher, able to demonstrate a real commitment to education for students with complex needs. You will be an excellent communicator, able to inspire and lead a team of learning support staff and to form positive and effective relationships with the residential, therapy and behaviour support teams and with students’ families. You will hold QTS and will preferably have completed your NQT year, although we would consider an exceptional newly qualified teacher with some relevant experience. Experience of TEACCH and PECS would be an advantage, as would the ability to offer a specialism such as music and drama or ICT. Applications from Primary practitioners are welcome too.
