Are you passionate about selling advanced control solutions and do you thrive in developing new business opportunities on existing and new markets. At DEIF Mediterranea, who is a company in an international group specialised in the field of advanced control solutions, we have great ambitions for the future and we are now searching for a Sales Engineer to expand our Business on the Mediterranean Rim and in Africa. DEIF Mediterranea is located in the South-East of France in Sophia-Antipolis near Nice and we are specialized within sales, business development, service and technical support of green, safe and reliable energy control solutions. We are 11 people, who work closely together with colleagues in DEIF Group globally and we are rooted in a culture of honesty, integrity and a high commitment to customer satisfaction and high internal performance. The job As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for generating growth on assigned countries through a dedicated sales performance. We expect you to build good relationship towards existing customers as well as increasing the existing customer base through a good business understanding and customer focus i.e. visiting customer on a regular basis and participate in relevant fairs and events. Additionally, you should ensure collection of feedback from customers that can form the basis for input to the future product portfolio. On a longer perspective we expect you to play a key role in developing our business opportunities on the Mediterranean Rim and/or the African market. The person To be able to achieve success in the job as Sales Engineer, you must be self- and result driven with strong competencies within business understanding and customer focus. You are analytical and can provide overview of competitors, customer needs and analyze new business opportunities. You communicate effectively with people on all levels and you know that the key to success is through collaboration and networking with your colleagues worldwide. We expect you to have a degree as Automation or Electrical Engineering or significant experience in sales of equivalent products. It is a must that you have a good track record. You are able to communicate on a high level in English, both orally and in writing. Speaking and writing either Italian, Spanish and/or Arabic is an advantage, but not a must.
