The Technical Content Management (TCM) Value Chain System is part of Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), and organized within the department Wind Capture and Transport & Handling. The TCM Value Chain Systems holds the accountability to ensure that all products are designed in a balanced manner for fitting into the operational value chain as to transportability, installability and maintainability. The TCM System Tech Lead is an essential role ensuring that optimal capabilities for the entire value chain is established through Integrated Product Development (IPD) where influencing component design for all Systems is a key to success. Responsibilities Act as TCM/T&H Tech Lead on TCM projects defining and quantifying TCM/T&H scope and consequence scope hereof for new turbine development projects, MK-upgrade projects as well as technology projects Carrying the responsibility of establishing business cases and all needed project data/material for project approval Execute technical project management on cross-functional projects with project groups consisting of internal and external engineering resources, as well as resources from Service and Manufacturing and external partners Secure that plans are established, aligned, have commitment and are executed accordingly Planning and execution of peer reviews as well as Technical Reviews in conjunction with the Vestas Way to Market (VWtM) project execution frame work Secure that the developed solutions meets “time, cost and quality” demands Assume responsibility for delivering data/information on projects and project progress to management and other parties Qualifications You have an education as an engineer (or similar) preferably, on top of a craftsman’s education, and you have 5-8 years of relevant experience with technical project management within international environments As the projects are complex and have a wide range of contacts both internally in VPS as well as external it is important that you are able to lead, motivate and communicate both cross-functional and cross-cultural in order to obtain full commitment to your project You master the disciplines of technical project management with particular focus on overview, planning and reporting, ownership delegation, networking and communication You have a good all-round commercial, financial and technical understanding Competencies You have an analytic and systematic approach to project issues, which you approach in a pragmatic manner without neglecting the importance of details Your personality entails empathy and diplomatic skills, which together with your persistent focus leads to agreed results You are customer orientated and have the ability to understand the business value chain seen from a sales and customer perspective You are fluent in written and spoken English at negotiation level What we offer The opportunity to shape the future of Wind Energy not only at the world's leading Wind Energy company, but of renewables in the next decade; the ability to translate cutting edge research concepts into real world impact - at scale, and with a sense of urgency, and appetite for boldness that is unparalleled Additional information Primary work location will be in Aarhus DK.
