We are looking to recruit experienced or newly qualified nurses to join our friendly team and positively contribute to continuing our high standards of patient care. Zetland Ward is a 31 bedded community hospital providing care for patients with long term health needs who have also been admitted to hospital following an acute episode of illness. We have 12 dedicated stroke beds that and also support those with a range of conditions and can be admitted for palliative care or rehabilitation. The Ward has a blend of ring-fenced beds for consultant led beds and general practitioner led beds. Integral to this role is the ability to effectively communicate with the patient, families and carers, and the multi-disciplinary team including therapists and social services; as some patients will require complex discharge planning. You will be expected to act as a positive role model to junior and unregistered staff, demonstrating an active interest in the development of the Ward and working towards maintaining and improving the standards of care.
