Join our children's therapy team and help us make a difference. Orchards are a multi-agency specialist hub, providing specialist services and support to children with disabilities and their families. We have a charity status “Friends of Orchards” - with the team raising money to fund community based projects such as a sensory garden. A diverse team, with some colleagues having been with MCH for some time and been promoted within the organisation and others who are relatively new to the organisation all friendly and supportive, with a range of social events. We’re looking for someone: To work with children aged 0-19 and to continue to develop your skills with both clinic children and those with more complex disabilities. To develop an area of specialism to be agreed at interview Key Responsibilities Diagnosing and assessing children with S&L difficulties. Delivering therapy for a range of S&L difficulties. Designing, monitoring and evaluating targets and plans for children. Providing specialist advice and support to parents, teachers and other professionals. To support other members of the team and to support the team leader in developing new ways to provide a responsive service to our clients. Who are you?
