Outline: Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a SHE Advisor to join their prestigious client based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will support the SHE Leader to ensure that the site is compliant with health, safety and environmental standards. The Job Role: *Engage with all levels on site, including senior management *Drive and implement local HSE programmes * Development and drive of compliance safety projects on site *Perform HSE inspections and audits of the site *Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees *Ability to conduct and support incident and accident investigations *Identify and analyse operations to determine hazards, and develop and manage *Assist in administering and maintaining compliance programmes such as Occupational Health screening, LOTO, Hazard Communication, Risk Assessment, SSOW, COSHH, control of PPE,RPE, Permits to work *Maintain and prepare HSE documentation and reports *Develop and deliver HSE records Experience / Requirements: *2-4 years previous experience working in a demanding manufacturing environment is essential *NEBOSH National General Certificate is essential *Manufacturing experience is essential *Knowledge of EH&S Management systems *IT skills and ability to manipulate date via Excel, together with ability to present data to all levels of the organisation * IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent is desired but not essential *Engineering knowledge is desired but not essential * Experience of improving safety cultures is desired but not essential * Experience with a batch/chemical manufacturing business is desired but not essential *Proactive approach to problem solving *Able to capture relevant data with an analytical eye, using a methodical approach *Able to engage and communicate effectively within a Unionised environment *Must be capable of career development and progression within the organisation *Must be capable of performing their daily duties without direct supervision *Must be able to work under pressure *IT skills are essential To apply, please contact Ben Pugh on 01978 363666 so that you can send your CV, or apply by clicking the link below.
