Do you want to take charge of quality assurance in our product development, ensuring that each and every one of our new electronic products is robust, reliable and of the highest quality? As a senior quality engineer, you deliver quality competences for our product development to ensure that all new electronic products meet our quality benchmark. In Bjerringbro, you will join Group Quality Product Development, an international team of 16 quality engineers based in Denmark, Germany, China and Hungary. You will have around 10-20 days of international travel a year and ample opportunity to influence the way we work with quality. “At Grundfos, quality is a key area that receives a lot of attention from our top management. You will have plenty of opportunity to influence decisions as you collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the organization,” says Senior Manager of Group Quality Product Development Charlotte Jensen. What is the job about? As a senior quality engineer, you are responsible for maintaining, developing and deploying the quality tools and methods that ensure a high quality and robustness in new electronic Grundfos products as well in projects as in the organization. Collaborating closely with our development engineers on the product quality status throughout the entire development cycle. Working on projects, you and the project team ensure that the finished products live up to the high-quality standards that we are known for. Specifically, you: turn customer requirements into measurable specifications and ensure that specifications are verified and validated ensure use of quality tools and methods to increase the quality/robustness level evaluate early feedback from market and react on failures communicate the risks to the rest of the organization make the final quality recommendation at milestones through special quality tools and methods “In this role, you have a high degree of freedom. Working closely with highly specialised and knowledgeable product developers, you ensure that we adhere to our quality guidelines and inform management about any general quality challenges,” says Charlotte Jensen. What do you need to apply? A degree in engineering or similar Solid experience with development, particularly within electronics Experience with quality tools and methods, e.g. risk minimizing tools such as FMEA, DFA, practical statistics etc. Teaching experience A high level of spoken and written English “On a personal level, you are highly organised, and your determination helps you keep on top of several projects at the same time. Equally important, you are a networker and you communicate easily with colleagues from shop floor to top management,” Charlotte Jensen finishes.
