Main responsibilities As Network Engineer you will configure, test and operate our network infrastructure. You will be part of the SCADA / Wind Power Data Centre team which is responsible for data integration of all wind farms. Collect, store and process data related to wind, to offer the business process data to support their task through advanced application and reporting tools. • Design and implement network solutions. • Communication networks within windfarms and our datacenter. • Daily operation task, with monitoring and optimization of our running network solutions. • Support windfarm projects from tender to O&M. Personal experiences and capabilities You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer, preferably from offshore wind. • Security network solutions Cisco and Check Point based. • Designing, build and operating High-Available networks. • Industrial networks, Hirschmann, Cisco and RuggedCom. • Line-of-sight communication primarily Ericsson Mini-Link. • Voice over IP. The following qualifications are not a must, but are considered desirable and an advantage: • Experience with SCADA related protocols like OPC, IEC60870, IEC61400-25, Modbus. • Experience in working within ITIL framework. • Experience with operating systems Windows & Linux. • Experience with VMWare clusters, using vSphere. Deployment and creation of Virtual Machines, snapshots, vMotion, including advanced knowledge of several operating systems, including Windows, and Unix.
