Your role will include the evaluation of the demonstrator products in terms of structural integrity and build quality characteristics. The use of CAE based simulation to optimize the design of product for AM together with build process quality is essential. In collaboration with the client you will identify suitable demonstrator parts for AM case studies and assist in specifying the design requirements to formulate a design brief. The role requires demonstrable experience in research methods, together with the definition and embedding of process flows within the client organization.
