For our Platform Management Team we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Platform Quality Lead to drive the development of our new wind turbines to the next level of our Zero Defect ambition. In the team we set and align future standards for quality in products and processes, because we make real what matters. We continuously improve by collaboration and knowledge sharing. As a Platform Quality Lead you will be a fully empowered member of a Platform Management Team responsible for a portfolio of new product development projects. Your role will be to drive the necessary quality awareness and planning early in the projects and then proactively follow up on the implementation of agreed quality activities through to completion of the projects. The voice of the Platform Quality Lead is decisive when making important decisions such as sales or production release. You will support and control your management team in order to maintain Siemens’ high standards for quality and safety. As part of the Quality Management team, you will also work continuously to improve the methods and processes within quality management of our development projects. The Platform Quality Lead is a global role and your influence will extend across continents as products developed in Europe and Asia may later be installed and operated in the USA, to give one example. Experience from an international organization is therefore a distinct advantage in this position. Your ability to network easily with people in different locations, cultures and management levels is also an important part of your qualifications for the role. What are my responsibilities? · Secure quality and alignment between key product development project documents; e.g. specifications, plans, validation reports · Plan specific quality activities (e.g. FMEA, design reviews, tests) together with the design and validation teams working in the projects · Follow up on the level of technical risk throughout the development stages together with our Platform Risk Managers · Secure proactive and consistent reporting of the quality status of each development project · Organize and facilitate Gate governance in the product development process What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical background and 5-10 years of experience in working with quality in projects · You are able to handle complex cases and projects and to structure large amounts of information without losing overview · You must be able to influence many stakeholders to obtain high quality · You have good interpersonal skills · You work style is structured with a sound approach to regulations and processes · You possess strong communication skills, as well as excellent English skills orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
