About the department The Semaglutide Diabetes & Diabetes Outcomes project is part of Global Development. The team has 110 dedicated employees responsible for the development of a range of late stage drug projects within diabetes treatment. The position As Project Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, optimising, tracking and reporting a range of project activities. You will join the Project Management team and will work closely with the Corporate Project Vice President and the project teams, e.g. Global Project team. Your job function will be to support the project management in driving the project activities towards agreed goals. You will be responsible for activity tracking including coordination of the budgeting process and keeping the project plan updated. You will arrange project team meetings and seminars including preparation of minutes of meeting and follow-up on actions. Moreover, it will be your responsibility in collaboration with the Project Vice President to prepare material for upper management meetings (e.g. Governance Committees and Portfolio Reviews), monthly project reports and communication materials (e.g. slides, pre-reading and newsletters). Qualifications Our ideal candidate has at least 2-3 year experience within the Pharmaceutical industry preferably with project management, budgeting experience and relevant training within medical terminology. Being part of a multi-cultural team, fluency in oral and written English is an requirement. You are a skilled user of various IT systems including MS Office. Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage. It is important that you are organised and can manage deadlines and work with multiple and frequently changing priorities using good collaboration skills and a sense of humour. You are good at problem-solving, working independently and proactively in a busy environment, and have a broad overview and sense of details.
