NHS EDUCATION FOR SCOTLAND PROGRAMME OFFICER (EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE DEVELOPER) Agenda for Change Band 6; £26, 830 to £35, 933 per annum pro rata Part Time; 30 hours per week Permanent Who We Are NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland. What You Will Do We are looking for an Educational Resource Developer to develop innovative online learning resources and to manage the development of a portfolio of evidence-based educational tools that support and underpin NES strategic and corporate objectives. Key tasks will include but are not restricted to : ·Plan, develop and design innovative online learning resources using a range of rapid-authoring, e-learning and multimedia technologies within a project management structure ·Collaborate with team members as well as key stakeholders to develop a robust evidence base to underpin practice based educational activity ·Contribute to NES national work establishing project goals, timescales and work plans, collaborating with regional and other clinical staff as necessary ·Create written reports and contribute to academic papers What You Will Bring Educated to Degree level, or equivalent you will have experience of developing interactive multimedia e-learning resources and knowledge and understanding of educational theory with the ability to apply theoretical principles to the development of new educational resources. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to understand user needs and be user focused and have an advanced knowledge of rapid development software (ie Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud).
