Would you like to use your lean and production management experience to create new best-in-class standards for a global production set-up? Become our new program manager responsible for the FLSmidth Production System. Brief Description Design our new global factory performance management system As program manager in this newly established position, you will be responsible for defining and rolling out our new FLSmidth Production System (FPS) program across 26 global factories. Working closely alongside local site managers, you improve our global production processes – focusing on best-in-class safety as well as reducing production lead time and improving efficiency. Detailed Description Your efforts will ultimately result in common FLSmidth way of working across the company, which deals with everything from shop floor performance management and problem solving, machine stability, parts and information flow to organizational development. Within this framework, your primary responsibilities include: · creating, enhancing and securing world-class production tools and processes · analyzing best practices and facilitating knowledge sharing across production sites · acting as a change agent and resource for plant managers in creating plans for improvement · following up on agreed development plans with each plant manager · developing a production excellence audit process tool to ensure sustainable processes and keep track of best practice implementation Job Requirements Change agent with Theory of Constrains (TOC), Six Sigma or lean experience · You have a solid theoretical background with a master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or business with a production or lean focus. · You have 3-5 years of experience with the implementation of improvement programs (TOC, Six Sigma or lean). · You are analytical and an excellent communicator who understands how to translate numbers into understandable and actionable information. · You preferably have some consultancy experience coupled with experience with plant or production management. · You are fluent in English, and you have excellent IT skills, especially when it comes to Excel, Outlook and Oracle.
