We are looking for Production Engineers to become part of our team of engineers and technicians. The team is responsible for manufacturing process design and development in relation to blade manufacturing. So if you hold a bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering, some years of experience with similar working tasks and are attracted by an international environment with a high level of activity – you might be the person we are looking for. Blades > PE & Strategic Projects > Blades Process The Manufacturing Process Development & Operational Support teams are responsible for manufacturing process design, development and ongoing support for blades production for wind turbines. The team has about 20 employees located in Denmark, UK, USA and India. The Cutting and Kitting sub department is responsible for creating cutting files, stacking sequences and packaging specifications for our glassfibre mats, core kits, etc., produced internally and externally. During EMR and Prototyping build the team is working strong together with the build team ensuring that the cut material are fitting the shape of the moulds. Support to the local factories in relation to cutting/kitting operations internally is also part of the daily work. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will be: Set safety as first priority, hereby in line with HS&E policy Create stacking and packaging specifications for glass and core kits manufactured internally or externally Optimize material consumption, processing time and cost in collaboration with our stakeholders Maintain and develop Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) based on Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) Part of creating PRS - Process Requirement Specifications for the processes in the area in combination with our stakeholders Engineering Change Management (ECM) - Case handling in relation to the above topics and secure controlled implementation Close contact and anchor point with all Blade factories to be able to support and deliver as agreed Qualifications The right candidate has an engineering degree (Production or Process), either Bachelor or Master level and you have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Further you have: Experience with LEAN and Six Sigma Tools Experience with CAD Software Experience with glassfibre handling or experience from relevant industry (Textile) Experience with cutting tables from equipment suppliers such as Lectra, Gunnar or equivalent Experience with running optimization and process development projects in manufacturing environments PFMEA and control plans Good communication skills in English, orally and written. Competencies As a person you are capable of driving/technical projects cross departments and cultures. Ideally certified into project management.
