For our Onshore Logistics organization we are looking for an experienced Platform Manager. The department is overall responsible for ensuring that transport and installation equipment is developed and described in accordance with Siemens Wind Power guidelines and local rules in the various countries. Furthermore, the department ensures on time delivery of equipment for transport and installation of newly introduced wind turbines and maintenance of existing equipment in alignment with product evolution. The department is responsible for delivering equipment for both Onshore and Offshore projects. What are my responsibilities? Manage the equipment project portfolio related to a specific wind turbine platform Responsible for budgets on current projects, and to deliver input for forecasts Ensure full equipment ”roadmap” in the lifecycle for the platform together with the Lead Engineer Report to management on all development activities, and ensure necessary actions are being taken Manage and communicate the status of platform programs and key projects together with the senior management team and project owners Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth and fast implementation of new developed equipment Contributing to the further development of product development process in Equipment Development Identify and drive strategic initiatives within the platform from an Equipment Development perspective Ensure best practice is evaluated for new concepts What do I need to qualify for this job? We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years of experience within PM, R&D or a similar environment You have strong analytical skills with a broad horizon and a holistic mindset You are a competent team player with demonstrated influencing skills and you naturally create a strong and broad network cross boarders in a global organization As a person you are innovative, proactive, persistent and have a structured approach towards your tasks You have a strong desire to work in a challenging and technically demanding work environment You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing You should expect some travel activities.
