Biogen is looking for a Human Performance Lead to drive organizational change across Biogen’s European organization - with base in either Denmark or Switzerland Job Summary: Biogen is expanding the EHS Organization and we are now looking for a Human Performance Lead to take accountability for the people projects rooted in EHS and the European region. As our Human Performance Lead, you will implement structures, work processes, tools and drive change to achieve best in class performance for safety, manufacturing and laboratory operations. While having technical insight of the role is an advantage, it is equally important that you are a very experienced stakeholder manager and have a documented track record of implementing high-level improvement projects in a global organization, including cross-organizational communication and change management. You will report into the US-based Director for Human Performance, work closely with the region’s senior leadership teams and will be based either at Biogen’s manufacturing facility in Denmark (Hillerod) or Switzerland (Solothurn), according to your preference. You will manage a cross-functional team of stakeholders from areas such as EHS, Large Scale Manufacturing, QA/QC, Label & Pack and external partners across the region in our efforts to enhance Biogen’s organizational learning, improve our performance and reduce risks. The principal accountabilities of this job are: • Lead implementation and monitor operational practices aligned with Human Performance principles, inclusive of manufacturing and laboratory operations • Contribute to Quality and Safety investigations from a Human and Organizational Performance SME perspective, in alignment with Quality Management System requirements and governing safety regulations • Accountable for effectiveness of Human Performance initiatives Qualifications • Min. 10 years of experience in a lab or operations environment, demonstrating experience in key technical facets of the role. • Practical knowledge and application of cGMP, cGLP, EMEA, and OSHA compliance regulations and inspections plus experience interfacing with e.g. inspectors, investigators and agencies. • Experience in leading Human Performance risk management and implementation of improvements across regional matrix organizations with cross-functional exposure. • Proven record in leading cross-functional teams and demonstrated experience in performance improvement and change management. Education Your experience is what counts the most; however, we imagine that you could have a B.S./Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
