Biogen is expanding, and we have reorganized our manufacturing organization to better meet the growing need for more hands to help produce medicine for patients all over the world. We are looking for a Supervisor to lead the night shift team for our Cell Culture Department, and due to this expansion we need a new supervisor colleague to help maintain a strong culture and implement new processes. Our new Supervisor colleague will thus be offered the opportunity to bring leadership capabilities into play, use the interest for technical trouble-shooting and not least work in a highly successful and international workplace. You will lead a team of 8-12 operators, including motivating, developing and recruiting operators. Accountability Description: 1. You schedule and direct daily manufacturing activities, timely communicate scheduling changes/issues to staff and management. 2. You perform manufacturing activities according to cGMP. Ensure completion of batch records following SOPs. Evaluate test results, identifie and resolve deviations. 3. You troubleshoot operational and equipment problems and make recommendations. Coordinate and draft revisions of batch related documents, including SLRs and SOPs. 5. You train Manufacturing Associates in process activities, including Safety and CGMP requirements. 6. You supervise validation activities, ensure proper and timely execution of validation protocols required in the areas. 7. You coordinate manufacturing activities with other departments and your supervisor colleagues and contribute or lead cross-functional projects as per business needs Location: Hillerod, Denmark Job Category: Operations, Technology & Innovation (PO&T) Requisition Number 31151BR Qualifications: Solid, practical experience with similar tasks, preferably with Cell Culture in a manufacturing or process development environment You need to speak and write English well as our corporate language is English.
