Description Do you want to lead a skilled and cross-functional team of engineers developing life-saving diagnostics instruments for hospitals and intensive care units around the world? As an R&D manager for New Instrument Development, you are part of launching the next generation of blood gas instruments all the way from concept to market launch. Our products help patients in need of acute diagnosis and treatment. Take this opportunity to improve your project and people management skills and gain experience in multi-disciplinary product development of medical devices. You bring technical development and management together With reference to the Head of New Instrument Development in R&D, you will manage the technical development within the blood gas instrument project as well as ensure that your team is always motivated and on track. More specifically, this means planning, executing and making needed decisions to ensure that the project will deliver high quality on time and in accordance with budgets. As part of this position, you get to engage in a broad collaboration with many different stakeholders. For instance, you will perform field research at hospitals, observing and analyzing our products in use in order to ensure maximum efficiency and usability. Within Radiometer, you will collaborate with QA, RA, Marketing, Production and other departments. Your tasks include: •Performance and people management of a team of 6-8 engineers •Managing the technical development of a blood gas analyzer consisting of mechanics, electronics, chemistry and software •Stakeholder management within and outside R&D, ensuring full alignment across the entire organization The position is an attractive opportunity to join a successful company, where the continuous development of employees is a key focus.
