Then this is your opportunity to help add a long-term perspective to how we work through data management together with our chief engineer. You will be part of our Final Assembly Centre of Excellence where you will refer to the manager of the area. Here, you join a global team of 12 skilled project managers, assembly engineers and production technicians based in Denmark and France. We are responsible for all the assembly technologies of finished goods – from small standardised pumps to large, customer-specific pumps. You may be based in either Denmark or France, but should expect some travel between the two locations. What is the job about? Your role will be to work closely with our chief engineer in building the landscape and vision of the Final Assembly Centre of Excellence. Specifically, you will be responsible for our data management approach and related projects, both in this Centre of Excellence and across Grundfos. This puts you right at the heart of the collaboration between Lean, Manufacturing and IT where you will direct the selection of technologies and tools to collect, analyse and utilise data in line with Grundfos digitalisation initiatives. Your goal will be to fulfil the needs of initiatives such as traceability deployment or digital supply chain as well as to contribute to creating a digital culture. You will reach these goals by: - challenging the organization and identifying opportunities through analysing and structuring existing data (via data VSM, statistics, search tools, etc.) - creating and improving the quality and value creation from information and data in Manufacturing - confronting technologies and tools with application constraints in different areas of the supply chain - facilitating global networking through natural leadership and an understanding of both the organization and the different ways of working - developing road maps and preparing future platforms What do you need to apply? In this position, you need to be able to communicate at all levels to connect the different competencies to your specific solutions and initiatives. You thrive being part of setting the direction, and you are driven when following new initiatives. Breaking new ground is exciting to you, and you are able to provide technical and data-based coaching to peers and put theory into practice. Furthermore, we imagine that you: - are an engineer with a background within modern production technologies and manufacturing - have solid experience from the area where production IT solutions meet manufacturing - have the experience to define opportunities in relation to products, manufacturing processes, technologies and needs - have knowledge of SAP - speak and write English effortlessly
