Detailed Description Sales talent, international experience and technical savvy As a person, you are an excellent networker with very strong communication skills. You are great with customers and with your stamina and previous track record, you thrive – and are motivated by – closing deals and ensuring that all details are in place. With your drive, energy and sales talent, you are able to meet our ambitious goals, while at the same time motivate and inspire your colleagues. · A strong commercial drive and understanding is required · You have a strong background from international sales of industrial equipment and/or plants · You have a technical background – perhaps an Engineering degree, and you have a highly international mindset and cultural understanding · A proven track record from international product/project sales is required · You speak and write English fluently – and other languages would be a plus Job Requirements Grow the business through enhancement of markets and customers You and your colleagues in the department have one major and overriding objective, which is to enhance our business through intensive and sharpened focus on both customers and market. You establish the customer relations and use your considerable market and customer know-how to adhere to the customers and elaborate on the contacts. In brief, you are: · Gathering comprehensive knowledge of market and project activities in your territory of responsibility, and building and maintaning a strong relationship is essential · Leading the preparation of commercial & technical proposals which includes communicating client requirements effectively into the organisation, enabling us to help our clients to succeed · Responsible for the overall sales process towards the customer until final negotiations and signing of the contracts Your success is fully dependent on your close relations with the customers, and you are therefore expected to travel around 80-120 days per year. You will be supported by FLSmidth local setup and partners as well business developers and product managers in order to acquire in-depth understanding of markets and their requirements.
