Then you might be just the innovator we are looking for to play a key role in building the greatest innovation setup ever seen. It covers everything from creating idea campaigns and driving employee awareness and ideation to facilitating the creation of new concepts and validating them with our customers. Mapping out our customers’ needs, our new innovation setup will form the basis of Grundfos’ future product portfolio. We call it Future Options, and it is up to you to make things happen. “Our goal is to create a global impact. This means that you will work across our global organization, skyping, calling and spending around 20 days per year travelling internationally to meet a wide range of colleagues and collaboration partners,” says Senior Manager of Ideation, Technology & Innovation Henrik Juul Nielsen. Promote the customer-centric approach across Grundfos Future Options is an innovation setup operating across the entire Grundfos organization. While operating out of the Business Development organization, the aim is to impact the organization broadly to improve the way we operate and create value for our customers. Reporting to the senior manager of Ideation, Technology & Innovation, you get involved in individual projects to ensure that the concepts match the needs of the customer. You evaluate whether a project is ready to progress and put forward your recommendation to the project owner, typically a Vice President in one of the business segments. “In this role, you’ll not only offer your customer insight in specific projects, you’ll also create value by making the customer-focused approach applied across Grundfos. You’ll know you’ve succeeded when colleagues start to call you for advice and input,” says Henrik Juul Nielsen. One part innovator, one part project manager Customer-centric at the core, you are focused on understanding the customer’s needs and making sure our concepts are a perfect fit. Your enthusiasm and insight cannot help but rub off on your colleagues as you obsess about bringing the customer to the centre of attention in all corners of our product and solution development. Add a dash of project management skills to the mix, and you are all set for success. You have a degree in design, business or engineering. The terms minimal viable product, quick customer validation and pretotyping are part of your everyday vocabulary. You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. You speak and write English fluently. “An outgoing nature will get you far in this role. With top-notch networking skills, you’ll seek out opportunities and drive initiatives forward by engaging stakeholders across our global organization, across sales, communication, business development and more,” says Henrik Juul Nielsen.
