The role will involve a range of health promotion opportunities and healthcare duties including: Contributing to the assessment of the health and well-being needs of children, young people and their families. Supporting the delivery of programmes of care and support to children, young people and their families /carers in a variety of settings. Working as part of the Healthy Family Team to address the local public health agenda This will help to ensure the smooth running of our Healthy Families Programme, a community based children and young people service. You will maintain a high standard of professionalism and provide services in line with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust values. We are looking for people who are punctual, reliable, and smart in appearance and will work in a professional manner. You will be employed on an 18 month fixed term training contract and work 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday. In return you will receive 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and a weekly wage of £135, rising to the appropriate minimum wage after 1 year. You will have access to the NHS pension scheme and will be supported to achieve your L3 in the Children and Young People Workforce Framework - Early Years Educator Pathway. You will also achieve the National Care Certificate L2 Competencies for support staff. Eight out of 10 individuals who complete their award go on to secure permanent employment and NHS salaries attract a starting salary of £14K. Many go onto further professional training including Nursing or allied healthcare professionals. The apprenticeship scheme is run in partnership with RNN Training and is delivered in the workplace. You will attend a planned induction and additional training events, and given time to complete your studies. The placement is being offered in Rushcliffe , Nottinghamshire. The basewill be agreed with the successful candidate following interview and you will be based in one location within a Healthy Family Team. However, you will be required to travel around the local community to provide services and attend study and training days at a specific location .
