Head of Group Financial Reporting & Treasury Location:Witney, Oxfordshire (Head Office) Full Time/Permanent At Nationwide Accident Repair Services, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join us as the Head of Group Financial Reporting & Treasury. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll be based at our Group Head Office. This is a very exciting opportunity to join our Group Finance Team with our current revenue c£350 million per annum. We've been building our car repair business (and our reputation) since 1993. Today you will find us offering service, speed, quality and value for auto services, in, or near, virtually every major town and city in the country. The company is the largest dedicated provider of accident repair services in the UK and has relationships with a large number of motor insurers, including RSA, Direct Line, AXA, LV and Zurich. The Role: This is a great opportunity in a high-profile position, taking ownership and leadership of group reporting and treasury. You will manage all Group financial outputs, along with leading on groupwide initiatives and support our continued growth and drive for continuous improvement. • To hold ownership of group reporting, consolidation and process. • To provide effective technical accounting guidance and support to divisional teams. • To manage and conduct the preparation of statutory accounts as well as group consolidated financial statements. • To lead ad-hoc projects across the Group, including due diligence and integration. • To manage and control the year-end audit process. • To support the business with potential M&A activity. The Person: Candidates will be/have: • Passionate, ambitious and enthusiastic • Self-motivated • Competitive team player • Attention to detail • Honesty, integrity, and an open style • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong leadership skills • Ability to delegate • Delivery focussed • Commercial awareness • A strong sense of time management Experience: Candidates will have: • A formal accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) • At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position • Proven track record of change management • Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills • Highly organised and flexible with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines • Corporate finance / transaction service experience – preferable. • Ability to build business cases based on current and changing environments • Familiarity with cloud based budgeting tool • Practical understanding of statutory & tax compliance We offer: Nationwide is uniquely positioned to focus on excellence.
