For our Global Resource Management team, part of the Service organization at our office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a talented and experienced interim Group Lead (3-4 months) with excellent people management skills ready to manage a team of highly skilled Service Technicians. Depending on your background, this will involve either specialized blade technicians deployed to priority tasks all over the world, or a group of offshore heavy lift technicians. You should apply for this position if you are passionate about the wind power industry, are able to think both tactically and operationally, and are interested in utilizing your management skills in a global setup. The position is very likely to become permanent in the long term. What are my responsibilities? Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a group of up to 35 service technicians Maximize resource utilization Control costs related to group members activities Administrative personnel management tasks, i.e. approval of hours, travel expenses, etc. You should expect to travel up to 10-15% of your time, primarily visiting regional offices and sites around the world. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong management background with a minimum of 5 years of professional management experience. Experience with distance management and managing blue collar staff is a distinct advantage. You have a higher education and project management skills. Experience within the wind industry is an advantage. As a person, you are proactive, adaptable, analytical, structured, decisive and result-oriented with noticeable intercultural, networking and team building skills. Furthermore you can keep a cool head and remain calm under pressure. Finally, you are a good mediator and possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
