Do you like to generate, interpret and communicate scientific data? Does interacting with leading Global Medical Doctors and Scientists interest you? Then we have an opportunity for you within our Global Medical Affairs department. About the department Global Medical Affairs, GLP-1 Diabetes and Obesity is a growing area, responsible for building and delivering consistent scientific communication across all phases of clinical trials, including our cardiovascular outcome trials. In addition, Global Medical Affairs is responsible for supporting medical education and training of healthcare professionals in the management of diabetes and obesity. The Position As a Global Medical Advisor, you belong to a highly motivated group of Medical Doctors with clinical, research and/or pharmaceutical experience, who are passionate about scientific/medical communication, education and training. As a Global Medical Advisor, you will provide timely, accurate and credible scientific and medical input for a variety of projects including educational initiatives towards healthcare professionals in collaboration with leading global doctors and scientists (Key Opinion Leaders) and international professional associations. In addition, you will be trusted to provide medical input to clinical trials that includes trial design, protocol development, and investigator selection and at later stages to drive the scientific dialogue based on the results from these trials. As a Global Medical Advisor, you are expected to be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders from Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, Global Safety, Marketing and other functional areas. The job will furthermore give you an opportunity to connect with leading global Key Opinion Leaders and gather medical and scientific information that can optimise product development and treatment of patients as well as medical educational programs. You will play a key role in developing publications based on our clinical trial results, which requires your ability to interact with authors, statisticians, medical writers, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you will support the development of internal training and guidance materials. The position also involves presentation of data toward internal/external audiences, as well as participation in international conferences and scientific meetings. Qualifications You are a Medical Doctor with at least 2 year of experience in clinical medicine, research or both; You have experience or interest for medical training and education; Experience from the Pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage but is not a requirement. A Ph.D. degree is considered a plus but is likewise not mandatory. You have good presentation skills and speak and write English fluently. As a person, you are extroverted and results-oriented.
