Working for one of the worlds leading Mechanical and Electrical maintenance companies. Based in the UK they have a turnover of over £3 billion and employ a workforce in excess of 80,000 world wide. They are currently looking for Engineering supervisor to work on the site just outside Nottingham. As part of a on site team it is essential that the Engineer operates as an Authorised Person (Electrical training will be given) other duties which will include • Full management of the engineering team • Contact with the help desk • Liaison between management and the team • To track equipment/highlight training requirements as needed • contractor support • Daily interaction between engineering team and the wider FM team • Engineering team 1-1 meetings • Support health and safety audits • IOSH (training provided) • AP electrical (training provided) • Call out rota (with extra payments) • Overtime when required Responsibilities • Support the development of a truly business focused maintenance environment based on a sound knowledge of building services plant and equipment • Develop a suitable competence management system with others to assist with the delivery of business focused maintenance and industry best practice • Create appropriate technical training bulletins and tool box talks to support business focused maintenance • Ensure all maintenance techniques are relevant to business focused maintenance, best practice and statutory requirements • Support on-site teams with the upkeep of asset and PPM data and liaise with external agencies to ensure all Plan-on information is up to date and accurate • Develop relevant asset and PPM performance measures to support the maintenance strategy • Develop critical and other engineering reports • Support the management of safety critical personnel • Demonstrate the development of a network of safety critical personnel and supporting functions (alerts, records) • Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in My client is offering • Full time position • 30-35k • 40 Hours per week • Monday to Friday 8:00am -5:00pm (flexible) • The position requires you to be on call once every 8 or 9 weeks and an allowance is paid for being on stand by and you also receive over time payment for attending • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays If you would like to be considered for this fantastic opportunity then please apply immediately
