If you are an experienced Data Analyst or Data Scientist, you might be our new colleague to contribute to a variety of exciting projects in Novo Nordisk. About the department In the Supply Chain Analytics department you will be working with a variety of Supply Chain data across Novo Nordisk as a multinational company with a lot of manufacturing sites around the world. The data is collected and transformed into daily insights about the Supply Chain that enable employees at all levels to make evidence based decisions. With the rapid advancement within data science, we are expanding our team. Our ambition is to use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data, which translates to improved decision making and understanding of our Supply Chain. Our department and our work is the basis of many larger decisions in the company, and therefore we are very ambitious in our approach and initiative to analyse and present our data. The position As data analyst/scientist you will be responsible of driving our journey towards the next level of analytics by defining how to apply advanced analytics and machine learning in a supply chain context. You will build, test and execute the next generation of analytics across the organisation and teach our internal business analyst how to apply these techniques. You will support on-going projects and analytical initiatives both on a strategic and operational level. It’s expected that you are able to collect, transform, model and visualise data. Qualifications We are looking for experienced Data Analyst or Data Scientist preferable with supply chain management experience. You come either from a similar position in another medium or large company or from a consultant company. You hold a MSc or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer/Data Science, Data Engineering. General knowledge of Supply Chain and key methodologies preferred. Experience in collecting, preparing data and preforming analytics in Alteryx, Python or R. If you have a kaggle profile or similar that proven your skills please include that too. An interest in looking into cognitive applications such as Data Robot and other predictive solutions in the market. Having experience with data management and BI Architecture is preferable and so is using tools like PowerBI and Tableau. It’s key you are great at what you are doing, have a burning desire to create impact and the ability to teach others how to apply advanced analytics. We like good humour, ability to listen to others, take initiative to improve, and thrive in a busy and diverse environment.
