We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our complex care at home team in Woking working with adults and children in and around the local Epsom areas of Surrey, including Ewell and Banstead. We have a range of shifts available, including days, nights and weekends or a combination of these, with a warm welcome of a free uniform & DBS awaiting you. You’ll receive any training necessary to top up your skills, including a shadow shift if required. The Home Care Assistant Job Role: We look after a diverse client base, therefore, our team members must be able to demonstrate an ability to adapt and work closely within a family network in a professional and sensitive manner. Our team of carers are supported by a supervising nurse who oversees all of our clients care to ensure we provide a service of the highest quality at all times. Daily tasks could include medication administration, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, mobilisation, pressure management as well as personal hygiene and enabling our clients to take part in their favourite activities. We are able to up-skill applicants if required. In order to be considered for this role you must have the following: • The ability to prove your right to live and work in the UK • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a complex care environment in the UK within the last 3 years • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs • Medication administration certificate highly preferable • Experience of clients with dementia highly preferable If you have an NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or currently work in a care assistant job, you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process.
